FMLC raises an incredible £20,029 in a crowdfunding campaign

We are thrilled to announce a monumental success for music education in our community! The FMLC Live project, launched by the Free Music Lessons Charity, has raised an amazing £20,029, all thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters in Oswaldtwistle and beyond.

What is FMLC Live?
The funds raised will bring a series of essential, creative projects to life. FMLC Live is focused on establishing a program of live events that serve a dual purpose:

Educational Opportunities for Students – Providing hands-on, real-world experience and training for music students.
Digital Content Library – Capturing these events and interviews to build a valuable, accessible library of digital educational content.
Local Entertainment – Offering free-to-access gigs and concerts for the local public, injecting energy and culture into the community.

It’s not too late to show your support

About the Free Music Lessons Charity

Behind this fantastic project is the Free Music Lessons Charity, a volunteer-led initiative dedicated to making music accessible to everyone. In a time when the cost of music lessons is soaring and school budgets are shrinking, FMLC steps in to provide:

– Music and performance activities for schools, parents, and the community.
– Training and skill development for aspiring musicians.
– New, enriching experiences for those who would otherwise face financial barriers to music education.

Thank you to every single person who backed this campaign. Your support ensures that music remains a vibrant and attainable part of education for students in our area!
